Tripdeo.com (“Tripdeo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the integrity of our platform by preventing, detecting, and addressing fraud. This Anti-Fraud Policy outlines the principles, responsibilities, and enforcement measures designed to safeguard buyers (clients), sellers (gig providers), and Tripdeo itself.


1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Ensure trust, transparency, and safety for all users of the platform.

  • Prevent fraudulent activities including identity fraud, payment fraud, service misrepresentation, and abuse of the platform.

  • Establish clear rules and processes for monitoring, reporting, and responding to fraud.


2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All users of Tripdeo, including buyers, sellers, partners, and affiliates.

  • All services, transactions, and communications conducted on or through the platform.

  • All Tripdeo employees and compliance partners who monitor fraud risks.


3. Prohibited Fraudulent Activities

Fraudulent activity on Tripdeo is strictly prohibited and includes, but is not limited to:

  • Identity Fraud: Use of fake, stolen, or forged documents (e.g., passports, IDs, business licenses).

  • Payment Fraud: Use of stolen credit cards, chargeback abuse, or manipulation of payment systems.

  • Service Misrepresentation: Sellers delivering counterfeit, fraudulent, or non-existent services.

  • Phishing & Impersonation: Attempting to impersonate Tripdeo staff, sellers, or buyers.

  • Platform Abuse: Circumventing Tripdeo’s systems (e.g., bypassing escrow, off-platform deals).

  • Document Fraud: Submission of falsified, altered, or invalid documents in any verification or service.


4. User Responsibilities

  • Sellers: Must provide truthful service listings, deliver services as described, and comply with Tripdeo’s KYC/KYB verification.

  • Buyers: Must use valid payment methods, provide accurate information, and not misuse chargeback/refund processes.

  • All Users: Must promptly report any suspicious activity to Tripdeo Support.


5. Tripdeo Responsibilities

  • Monitoring: Use automated systems and manual review to detect fraudulent transactions, duplicate accounts, or suspicious activity.

  • Verification: Apply identity and business verification checks (KYC/KYB) to sellers and, where applicable, to buyers for high-value transactions.

  • Investigation: Promptly investigate reported or flagged cases of fraud.

  • Reporting: Cooperate with regulators, financial institutions, and law enforcement when required.


6. Consequences of Fraud

Users engaged in fraudulent activity may face:

  • Immediate account suspension or permanent termination.

  • Freezing or forfeiture of funds held in escrow.

  • Reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

  • Civil, regulatory, or criminal action as permitted by law.


7. Prevention Measures

Tripdeo employs multiple layers of fraud prevention, including:

  • Secure payment systems and escrow model.

  • Monitoring of unusual transaction patterns.

  • Fraud-detection tools and third-party compliance checks.

  • Periodic audits of accounts and services.


8. Policy Updates

Tripdeo may update this Anti-Fraud Policy to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, or operational requirements. Updates will be published with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
